Position Overview
A federal human capital program is standing up an employee and labor relations team. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates anywhere in the United States.
You would advise managers on conduct and performance issues, handle grievances, and document cases that hold up under review.
Responsibilities
- Advise supervisors and managers on employee conduct, performance, and discipline
- Draft and review proposed and final disciplinary actions
- Handle grievances and support third party proceedings
- Interpret and apply agency policy, collective bargaining agreements, and Title 5
- Build and maintain case documentation
- Support performance management programs
Qualifications
- 5 or more years of federal employee relations or labor relations experience
- Hands on work with disciplinary and adverse actions
- Grievance and conduct case handling
- Policy interpretation and case documentation
- Must hold a public trust or be able to obtain one
Degree requirements are flexible. Depth of federal ER/LR casework matters more than the credential.
This position is fully remote. Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States.
