Position Overview

A federal human capital program needs a recognized expert in federal retirement and benefits. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates anywhere in the United States.

You would be the person the agency turns to on the hard retirement cases, and the one who teaches everyone else how to handle the routine ones.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter authority on FERS, CSRS, and federal benefits programs
• Prepare and validate retirement estimates, including complex service history cases
• Counsel employees on retirement, health, life insurance, and TSP
• Review OPFs and eOPFs for service history and creditable service
• Deliver retirement seminars and pre retirement briefings
• Advise program staff and resolve escalated cases

Qualifications

• Deep federal retirement and benefits expertise, recognized by peers
• FERS and CSRS working knowledge, including complex and disability cases
• Retirement estimate preparation and validation
• Benefits counseling and seminar delivery
• OPF and eOPF review
• Must hold a public trust or be able to obtain one

There is no fixed years or degree requirement on this role. Recognized expertise is the standard.

This position is fully remote. Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States.
