Position Overview

A federal human capital program is building out its recruitment and staffing team, and we are looking for Senior HR Specialists who are DEU certified. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates anywhere in the United States.

You would run the full federal hiring lifecycle for a headquarters level customer, from job analysis through certificate issuance, advising hiring managers along the way.

Responsibilities

• Run delegated examining, merit promotion, and direct hire actions end to end
• Build vacancy announcements and post them in USA Staffing and USAJOBS
• Conduct job analysis and develop assessment questionnaires
• Adjudicate veterans preference and apply qualification standards
• Issue certificates of eligibles and audit them for accuracy
• Consult with hiring managers on strategy, timelines, and applicant pools

Qualifications

• DEU certification. Current or expired both considered. If expired, there is a path to recertify in the first 60 days
• Federal staffing and recruitment experience, ideally 8 years or more
• Hands on USA Staffing and USAJOBS
• Job analysis and assessment development
• Veterans preference adjudication
• Must hold a public trust or be able to obtain one

Degree requirements are flexible. Depth of federal staffing experience matters more than the credential.

This position is fully remote. Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States.
